SUBSCRIPTION REFUND POLICY
1.0 The Club accepts, that in normal circumstances, all players who register (or are registered by someone else) to play with the Club each season have done so in good faith, and with the intention of playing for the Club for the duration of the season. The Club therefore accepts that any request for a refund of subscriptions will normally be the result of unusual circumstances
2.0 The Club will accept written applications (see attached form to be completed) for a full or partial refund of net subscriptions paid (less administration fees and subject to time limitations as noted below) in the following circumstances:
- Where an incorrect subscription amount has been paid initially;
- Where a player sustains a long term injury;
- Where a player becomes ill for an extended period of time;
- Where a player moves to reside permanently in another New Zealand Soccer Federation area or overseas;
- Where a player has joined the Club for the first time in the junior grades (6 th to 9 th grade) and the Club has been advised in writing they joined on a ‘trial’ basis;
- Where players are unable to be placed in a team due to insufficient registrations being received for a suitable team;
- Any other circumstances which the Committee of the Club accepts from time to time.
3.0 Refunds of subscriptions will normally be limited as follows:
- Refund requests received in writing before 28 th February in the year of payment – 100% of the discounted subscription paid less an administration fee of $15.00;
- Refund requests received in writing after 28 th February but before the date of the first scheduled competition match in the year of payment – 70% of the discounted subscription paid less an administration fee of $15.00;
- Refund requests received in writing after the date of the first competition match and before 30 th June in the year of payment – 40% of the discounted subscription paid less an administration fee of $15.00;
- Refund requests received after 30 th June in the year of payment will be declined.
5.0 The Club reserves the right to retain any refund of subscriptions until the player has returned all Club property and settled any outstanding amounts for fines and/or other debts owed;
