ELLERSLIE AFC GAINS CLUB QUALITY AWARD

The Quality Club Mark scheme, developed by New Zealand Football in conjunction with the seven regional football federations and the 17 Regional Sports Trusts around the country, shapes continuous improvement in the way football is delivered, supporting clubs as they adopt standards of best practice in all areas of operations.

The scheme focuses on club implementation of the Whole of Football Plan as operations in administration, governance, planning, finance and health and safety are structured alongside football-specific focus areas such as player, coach and referee development.

There are three levels of achievement in the Quality Club Mark: One Star (developing club), Two Star (community club) and Three Star (best practice club).

Ellerslie is the 15th club in the country to have been awarded One-Star status.
